Medway VCSEF Leaders Network

The Medway VCS Leaders Network brings together leaders from the voluntary, community, social enterprise, and faith sectors across Medway to support collaboration, mutual learning, and the sharing of good practice.

Established in 2015, the network was created to strengthen the collective voice of Medway’s VCSEF organisations, large and small, enabling greater partnership working and positive change across the community.

What We Offer

  • A platform for collaborative working and peer support
  • Opportunities for effective networking with other sector leaders
  • Events and activities to encourage the sharing of experience and good practice
  • Representation through a Steering Group of sector leaders, focusing on action for the benefit of all members
  • Medway VCSEF Leaders Awards

The network is facilitated by Medway Voluntary Action (MVA) as part of Project Medway, who also host an online platform to further members’ ambitions.

How We Work

The VCSEF Leaders Network is guided by a Steering Group made up of representatives from organisations across Medway’s VCSEF sector. The Steering Group meets regularly and elects a Chair for a two-year term. As of December 2023, the Chair is Eithne Rynne (Kent Association for the Blind).

Why Join?

Members benefit from strengthened partnerships—both within the sector and with statutory bodies—and have the opportunity to offer and receive peer support. Collectively, the network aims to influence service design, share expertise, and champion the needs of Medway’s communities. The diversity and dedication of the network’s leadership makes it a powerful force for good.

If you are a VCSEF leader in Medway and want to connect, share, and help shape the future of our sector, we invite you to join us.
